Hi there, welcome friends!

My name is Krystal Franke, and I’m grateful you’ve stumbled upon my tiny home of the internet.

A year ago, my family and I decided to sell everything, leave behind those we love, and go live off the coast of West Africa on a hospital ship that provides free, safe, state of the art surgical care to the poorest of nations. In the midst of the journey, one thing has become very clear: for whom much is given, much is required.

I am a nurse, a photographer, a filmmaker, and a lover of writing/reading poetry. You’ll find many things here, but hopefully what you find thread throughout, is a love for Jesus and the constant prayer that he would make me new every moment, of every day.
